There’s no better time than summer time, and this gives me the opportunity to get back to my photography roots and shoot some good old fashion band shots.

Sure, I love being a commercial photographer shooting advertising campaigns, lifestyle and fashion shoots here in Birmingham and London but there’s nothing like a little sunshine, good music and great vibes and the opportunity to roam freely around a festival soaking up the atmosphere and snapping the action. It’s good for the soul!

Here’s a few picks from the recent Mostly Jazz Festival in Birmingham, which saw the likes of Public Enemy, Roy Ayers and Craig Charles entertaining the crowds on the sunny weekend in July.
